Who We Are
Allegheny Nesting is our family homestead tucked inside the Allegheny National Forest, where we create small‑batch body care, pantry goods, and handcrafted essentials inspired by life in the Pennsylvania Wilds. What began as a simple, resilient way of caring for our family has grown into a brand that celebrates comfort, nature, and everyday nourishment.
You can shop all of our homestead‑made products exclusively at our store Nest & Nourish Boutique in downtown Kane — a cozy, curated space filled with our own creations, thoughtfully chosen clothing, gifts, and seasonal goods. Together, Allegheny Nesting and Nest & Nourish bring the spirit of the PA Wilds to your home, your skin, and your story.

Explore the PA Wilds Through Our..
Homestead
Come follow our homestead life here in the PA Wilds, where every day brings a new adventure. You’ll get to know our mischievous goats, fluffy alpacas, and our ever‑faithful sheepdog Murphy, who does his best to keep the barnyard in order.
We share the real rhythm of homesteading — the funny moments, the unexpected lessons, and the behind‑the‑scenes work that goes into caring for our animals and creating the products we sell. Through videos and tutorials, you can watch how we make our soaps, tallow balms, pantry mixes, and more, all crafted right here on our family farm.
You’ll also see goat births, barn updates, daily chores, and plenty of adorable baby animals. If you love learning, love animals, or just want a peaceful window into rural life, our page is a cozy place to land.
Products We Make & Boutique
Shop our collection of handmade homestead goods — each one crafted with care right here on our family farm in the PA Wilds. From our creamy goat milk soaps (you can even watch us make them!) to nourishing beeswax lip balms, hand‑whipped tallow balms, and soothing bath salts, every product is created in small batches using simple, wholesome ingredients you can feel good about.
You’ll also find our homestead greeting cards, 100% soy wax dough bowl candles, and a rotating selection of rustic home décor inspired by the forest, wildlife, and everyday beauty of rural living.
We also create personalized and seasonal décor with our wood laser, making it easy to find a meaningful gift or a custom piece that feels right at home in your space.
You can shop our full line in person at Nest & Nourish Homestead Boutique, at select vendor shops and farmers markets, or right here on our website — wherever you choose, you’re supporting a small family homestead and the work we pour into every batch.

We spend as much time outdoors as we can — playing, learning, and uncovering hidden gems tucked across the PA Wilds. There’s always a new trail to explore, a creek to cast a line into, or a small town worth slowing down for, and we love sharing those finds with you.
Whether you’re planning your first visit or searching for your next unforgettable outing, our stories, guides, and videos make it easy to experience the magic of the PA Wilds through the eyes of a local homesteading family.
Classes & Community Events
We love bringing people together to create, learn, and connect — both here on our homestead and throughout the PA Wilds. As proud PA Wilds members, we’re grateful to host many of our pop‑up craft classes in the beautiful PA Wilds Media Lab Classroom in Kane, PA. It’s a bright, inspiring space where creativity flows and community grows.
We also offer outdoor workshops right here on our farm, surrounded by pastures, fresh air, and the gentle company of our animals. There’s something magical about crafting with goats grazing nearby and the sounds of the homestead all around you.
