Who designed my logos?
Designing a Logo That Tells Our Story
When it came time to design a logo for Allegheny Nesting, I knew exactly what I wanted it to represent. I told my husband I envisioned three trees—one for each of our kids and a nod to our life here in the Allegheny National Forest. I also dreamed of a second logo that included the animals that make our little homestead feel complete: alpacas, goats, and chickens.
There was just one problem—neither Kyle nor I have any experience with graphic design. So I reached out to my longtime friend, Erin Pratt, who owns Ivy Lynn Design Studio: Erin Pratt – Digital Courses for Creative Entrepreneurs. I shared my ideas with her, and she immediately got to work. Before long, she sent over several beautiful concepts, each one capturing pieces of our story.
Choosing was the hard part, but in the end, Erin created two stunning logos that feel like the perfect reflection of our brand and our life here in the forest.
If you’re looking for someone to bring your vision to life—whether for a logo or a full website—I can’t recommend Erin enough. Her creativity, professionalism, and ability to translate ideas into meaningful designs made the whole process a joy.
