A Tea Party in the PA Wilds

This weekend I attended the McKean County Fair Princess Tea Party with my daughter Allison Rose. A princess from each of the towns in McKean County attended and helped the kids decorate cookies, pin the gem on the tiara, play bingo, and sing and dance. It was a very fun event for the kids and was only $5. During the event, I talked to several of the town princesses and they explained to me the responsibilities of being a town princess and I was surprised to learn they help at and attend over 20 events per year. WoW! What a big undertaking for each of the girls. We will be attending the fair the for the first time this year and I am excited to see what it is like. First fair in the PA Wilds for our family.
